Vaginal Rejuvenation / Labiaplasty FAQ:

What is Vaginal Rejuvenation, Labiaplasty or Labia Reduction?

Labia reduction is a procedure to reduce the size and length of the labia minora (the inner lips) and/or the labia majora (the outer lips). The labia minora are necessary to cover the clitoris and vaginal opening and can be surgically reduced while still maintaining their necessary function. Also known as labiaplasty, this procedure can help women who experience pain, humiliation and hygiene problems due to large and protruding labia. The labia majora can also be decreased in size by reducing fat deposits.

If you were born with very thin labia or if you’ve lost volume over time or due to trauma, labia rejuvenation and labia repair can enhance your labia and add overall shape to the outer areas of your vagina. A pubic lift can also be performed when the pubic area descends or collapses downwards due to weight fluctuation or age. This procedure raises the entire area by surgically removing excess skin and fat from the region and then re-draping the skin to lift the pubic appearance.

If you are unhappy or uncomfortable with the shape and/or size of your labia minora, then labiaplasty is the perfect procedure for you. Most women have enlarged or asymmetric labia minora from birth.
